I am so honored that I was able to have you in my life and be able to call you an amazing friend. You were truly an inspiration to everyone you met. You never expected any special treatment or made any excuses for your disability. You lived your life to the very fullest- Your determination and positive attitude was infectious and admirable. I hope you are resting peacefully and I will forever miss you, love you lots.

Brian was such a special individual who shared so much with so many people. As I tried to think of words to express how Brian changed my life as a teacher, a song kept returning to my thoughts and felt so appropriate. Thank you Brian for all you taught me.
For Good:
I've heard it said,
That people come into our lives
For a reason
Bringing something we must learn.
And we are led to those
Who help us most to grow if we let them.

To the Schwenzfeier family,
There are no words for this loss. Brian was the brightest light and touched everyone who knew him. I loved growing up next to him, we shared so many laughs. My comfort rests in the fact that he now has no limitations where he is, he can fly high and sing with the angels.
My thoughts are with you guys, much love,
Lauren

I briefly taught Brian at Latham Ridge with Camille Wing and I also knew Brian through Ned Fleischer. Brian was such a fine example of perseverance and one of the strongest, kindest souls I've ever met. He also became an excellent music teacher and we were lucky to have been blessed with his beautiful voice. I remember well doing the 6th grade show with him and followed his progress through many years. I am very sad to hear this news and my sincere sympathies go out to his family and his fiance. He will be greatly missed. Maybe he is with Ned now, enjoying the choir in heaven.

Brian was such a beautiful soul. I haven't seen him or spoken with him since Shaker High School but he left a lasting impression on me. He was incredibly kind. I wasn't one of the "cool kids" and he reached out. He reached out to everyone and passed no judgement. A lover of life and people . I will miss you Brian. Sending prayers and love to the whole family❤️

Dear Schwenzfeier Family,
I am sorry for your loss. I initially met Brian when I volunteered at the St. Ambrose
Jr. High Lifeteen program. What a wonderful young man I met! I also discovered what a beautiful voice he had while I attended a program at Shaker Jr. High School. Whenever I hear Josh Groban's song," You Raise Me Up ", I recall Brian singing it at an end of the year program at the Jr. High. What a gift he had! I'm sure he was warmly welcomed in heaven and his voice will now join that of angels. May God grant you strength during this difficult time. he certainly will be dearly missed..
