I am so, so, very sorry for your loss. I knew Emery from seeing him walking and running in the neighborhood. I stopped smoking 19 years ago and had to do something to keep from starting again. I used to see Emery walking in the mornings, and I thought to myself "if he's doing it, I should be doing it!!!." So I started walking, then started running, and have been doing so ever since. I saw Emery some years ago and told him it was because of HIM that I started running and never started smoking again and was in great health!! I would see him every now and then and we would say hi and chat with each other. I will never, ever forget him and he will always be in my thoughts and prayers, and I am thankful and grateful that I knew him!! God Bless him.

Emery and Lillian attended Mass with us every Sunday at Mother Teresa Community. He read every Sunday. Even when he did not appear to feel well. My mother was sick for quite a while and they never failed to ask about her and send prayers. What a lovely family. Emery will be missed at every Mass.
