As I sit here and cry like a little girl, that is what my Dad thought of me. I was always his little girl. I was so lucky to have someone who loved me as much as he did. I have such a huge hole in my heart right now. I really miss him. He was so loved by so many people. It makes me really sad that he left so early.
Daddy, I miss you.
Kristin
I met Peter in 1989 when I started in Westchester County DSS. Peter was the seasoned pro that shared his knowledge with me. He was serious and professional, but when he smiled, it lit up the room.He took care of his mother without complaint and showed off pictures of his daughter like the proud parent he was. My condolences to his family.
I have worked with Peter at The Department of Social Services and he was one of the nicest people that I have ever known. He was a very quiet and mannered and helpful person always willing to assist and help when ever needed. He was just a pleasant man and a great co-worker. It was a pleasure to have known him. We had such good times working together.
I have known Peter since the late 70's and worked with him at Westchester County DSS. He was a very friendly, funny person and one of the nicest people I knew. Although I have not seen him in many years, he will be missed.
To Peter's family, The staff of the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home offers it's deep sympathy at his passing. May you find comfort in your faith, in each other and knowing he is at peace.
