To Beth's family:
I knew Beth in a number of ways. I first knew her mom, Fran, at the Watervliet Senior Center, many years ago, and I'd see Beth. Then we served on the board there. She also worked with a friend of mine, Bill Pape.
But most of all I knew your mom as an inveterate theater-goer. It was always a joy to run into her at intermission, particularly at Curtain Call. She was warm, interested in everything, interesting herself, and fun-loving.
Broadway lights dim when a luminary passes. I know that our local theater lights will be a little dimmer now that her radiance is gone.
My thoughts are with you.
