IRENE H. MALE Latham- Irene H. Male, 86 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital, in Albany. Born in Schenectady on June 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Genevive (Kozloska) Cwalina. She was married to the late Allen Male. At one time Irene was a Sales Clerk with Uniform Village in Colonie for many years and in her early days she ran a comptometer for General Electric in Schenectady. Irene is survived by her loving children: Karen Douglas of Latham and William "Bill" Douglas of Chestertown, NY and her 2 cherished grandsons: Bill Jr. and Danny as well as her sister: Sophie Stevens of MA., her daughter in law Lynne Douglas and several stepchildren, step grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her son: Frank Jr. and her sisters: Frieda, Ann & Camille Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday March 22 from 5-7 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral services will be held Friday March 23 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Fr. Geoffrey Burke will officiate. Interment will take place in Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.
