I was with Al in the Navy 43 years ago and only met June while she was living with Al in Holy Lock, Scotland. From what I can remember June was a bright young beatiful woman. All Al's Navy buddies wondered what June saw in Al. But it was pretty obvious. Never saw two people who loved each so much. God Bless you Al and my prayers go out to you and your family.

I will really miss June. We had good times and laughs on holidays and get togethers at Ron and Lori's house and on trips with them -- most recently to Key West and Charleston.
She was a fun loving "lady" and put up a courageous and silent battle with her illness. She enjoyed life.
She brought up two wonderful children who share many of her attributes. They are a joy to be with.
I will miss her dearly.

My heartfelt condolences toAl and the entire family.
I took a walk on a sunny day 8 years ago and met June. Our frienship started that day and I feel privileged to have had the opportunity. June was an inspiration to many. She lived the last 6 years to the fullest despite the obstacles. June was caring, dependable, honest, fun to be with and a sincere friend.
RIP dear friend, I am going to miss you!

June and I were roommates at Elizabeth Seton College in Yonkers, New York. She was madly in love with Al and I was madly in love with Ed. We played Johnny Mathis albums on the record player and talked about how much we loved our guys. That love lasted all these years and only became deeper and sweeter over time. Our lives went in different directions but we always stayed in touch. We were blessed to get together again this summer after so many years. A second visit at Christmas was another gift. Our love goes out to all of her wonderful family. Al, you are the best. June will be in our hearts always. Love, Ed and Mary Lou
