Kelly...we knew each other for 8 memorable years and I had and will always have so much love for you. You were an incredible person and such a unique character. Your laugh was contagious and your goofiness made me smile everytime I was down. You were truly one of the most amazing people I had ever met and I thank you for all the great times. I will pray for Niko and the rest of your family. I wish we wouldn't have lost touch in 2010 as I have missed you and wish I could have been there for you on your final days. Rest in eternal peace my friend, well meet again some day.

Thinking about you often my dear, and missing you dearly. I was already missing you- it had been too long!- but your absence on this earth magnifies it. What a confusing thing for all of us to be left without you. Wishing we could catch up over tea as we had planned, or go to a dance class, or go shopping. Love to you girl, and sending you all the peace and love and light I can muster. <3 Julia

I had the pleasure of meeting Kellyrose when she was pregnant with Nick and for a few months after giving birth. Eventually Kellyrose went to live in Florida and I was no longer able to visit with her. I was shocked and extremely saddened in regards to Kellyroses' death. All my best to her family at this very troubling time.

Hey Kelly,
I just want you to know you are the best biggest sister I could have ever asked for. You always made me feel comfortable and always understood what I was going through. I will never forget your humor and beauty. You have left an everlasting impact on everyone lucky enough to have met you. Your life was too short however you made the best of it and brought out the best in everyone else. I am glad you are in a better place now. Gone but never forgotten. <3

Goodby but never goodby to our granddaughter, Kelly. You were always such a big piece of our family, always enjoyed the gatherings and the parties, always such a big pal of your Granmmy, Theresa, always ready to go with Granmmy for a day at Stoney Brook to see the ducks, buy makeup, and stop off at Howard Johnson's, always ready to tease old Grandpa. You will always be missed and never forgotten. May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand forever.ZUXI

To Kelly, always remembered as the little girl I never had...holding you in the airport and a nice woman saying, "Oh my, don't we look like Mommy!?" I was so overjoyed to have you look like me that I just said, "Thank you!" and beamed a big smile at your mom, right there laughing! Thanks to you, I had the sheer joy of lots of days of hot-curling our hair together, letting you try out makeup (even though you were too young), learning new dance-steps from you as you patiently taught me. I can't recall any of it without seeing your bright smile and hearing your infectious giggles. I've always loved the little Christmas ornament you made me when you were little. Now I cherish it even more, knowing you held it in your little hands and worked so hard on it. I cherish the memory of your very first day of life, propped-up on a pillow next to your Mom, looking right at Finola and I, eyes wide open. One of my favorite photos is of you and I in our jammies one summer morning on Long Island, eating breakfast together(probably about 11am!) We both had wild morning hair and we were laughing and chatting over cereal bowls. I'd love to do it again kiddo. Someday we will...and we'll hot-curl our hair before we let mom take that photo again...for old times sake. Til we meet again sweetie, sleep in heavenly peace. I love you.

The loss of a child is so unimaginable, and the loss of a young mom and sister is equally inconceivable. Kelly was a force of nature. I remember so well when we spent time together in Hawaii, and she was so protective of my granddaughter who was only a year younger than her, but she was taking care of me so I wouldn't worry. She could 'read' the room, and act accordingly. She was such a wit, and joy to be around. Always a BIG thinker, she wanted to exceed what her dad had accomplished and knew her brother TJ was a hard act to follow. I am just so so sorry. You are in my heart and prayers, as she will always be. Much love and hugs to you all! Barb

Hey Kellyrose,
Who am I going to share my birthday with now? I had 22 with you, but now it's just me. You left me hanging! It's okay, though. I know you'll be there somehow.
Who is going to help me beat up Connor now? He's getting pretty big, not sure I can take him by myself...
Who am I going to talk to, post-game, about the state of the New York Jets franchise? J... E... T... S... JETS JETS JETS!! When they finally break through, and they will, someday, I'll be thinking about you.
Who's going to watch Parks and Rec with me? No one person can handle Tom Haverford by himself...
Who's going to teach Niko how to tackle people and knock their socks off? I guess Connor and I will have to fill in for you, but we both know no one hits as hard as you. :)
Who's going to tell embarrassing stories to my girlfriends and buddies?
There isn't anyone else who can do these very important things, so we're going to keep you here, in memory, if nothing else.
love,
your big brother,
Tj

I was there when you were born. The memory of the pain of delivery left your mom the minute she saw you. The pain of this moment is relieved by the bright light you added to this world and the memory of that will live in our hearts forever. We will never forget the joy and spunky spirit of Kellyrose!
