Cas was a great friend and co-worker. He often spoke of his family with great pride and love. He gave my children big sparklers for the fourth of July and made sure they had them in time and instructed me on all safety issues. (that was Cas :-)) He took time to show my son his car, how to care for a vehicle, the differences in makes, etc all in one afternoon at work. He was kind and had a great work ethic. He will be missed greatly! You will be in our thoughts and prayers Cas! I pray Peace for your family for we know you are now in heaven with the Father! God Bless Galka Family!

We will miss Cas. He was a good neighbor. We will never forget the time Michael was practicing pitching and Cas thought he needed a batter to give the true pitching effect. Cas stepped up to the plate to assist.

Cas was my boss and friend for many years at the Hartford in Delmar. I am so sorry to hear that he has passed and feel terrible that I am out of town and can't make it to the service.
Cas was a tough boss because he was a bit of a perfectionist, but we still had a lot of laughs over the years. I remember we were all sort of jealous over what a good athelete he was, and I know he took a lot of quiet pride in that. I moved away in the 80's and only saw him a few times at insurance functions in the past 10 years, but he was a great guy and please accept my sincerest sympathy. All of us from his "old days" like Tom Ogden, Gary Hearst,Cathy Robbins ( my ex wife), MaryEllen Venter, John Templer and I will really miss him.
