Carosella Deborah posted a condolence
Sunday, November 26, 2023
The McElwee family sends our deepest sympathies to the Vane family. Our dad, John, and Leo shared many hunting trips, fishing trips, motorcycle rides, and backyard barbecues together. They worked together at the Watervliet Arsenal for many years. Leo and Shirley were guests at my wedding and I had my first motorcycle ride with Leo. So many childhood memories included Leo and the Vane family. Deb Carosella (McElwee)

You are the BEST Dad any son could ever have! You have always been loving, caring, kind, and have taught me so many things like hunting, fishing, working hard and being kind to everyone. Thank you for always being there for me in good times and bad times. You have been a great role model, teacher, provider, and my forever hunting buddy. We will be seeing each other again.
Love Steve
