To those of us who worked at Bellevue Woman's Hospital, Dr J was an outstanding example of dedication and hard work.
She left a legacy that will never be forgotten by the Bellevue Family. Dr J and her brother exemplified the motto "we are here for our patients". Dr J and Dr Westney were a power couple of the 80's and 90's giving freely of their time and talent to the community.
When Dr Westney was setting up the program to train first responders, someone once asked her "how many rubber chicken dinners did you have to eat this week?" She just smiled and shook her head without complaint.
I am certain that when she got Home, Diana, Paul and her parents said "well done".
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of GGJ.

Although I did not know Dr. Westney personally I delivered both of my children at Bellevue Hospital. With both births I had a wonderful experience with the caring staff. It was an amazing facility and reflected the caring of the founders and the staff that worked there.
My sympathies go out to Dr. Westney's family and friends.

Deepest condolences to John and your family for the loss of your mother. My mother used to love to tell stories of your grandmother and her time working at Bellevue as an assistant.
