Joanne was highly regarded in every position she held, beginning as an entry level stenographer and ending her career as an Assistant Director. Joanne found happiness in many things, including traveling, gardening, reading and shopping. Joanne loved spending time with friends and family, those both old and new, near and far. Joanne's most recent and precious love was her beautiful granddaughter, Mia Pearl Stubblebine. Joanne is survived by her loving husband, Michael Carroll of Latham; her loving son William Stubblebine, his wife Layla Stubblebine and granddaughter Mia Pearl Stubblebine of Troy; her sisters and brother, Nancy (Edward) Doherty of Georgia, Mary Ellen (Michael) Reo of Wynantskill and Christopher (Colleen) Mancinelli of Hopewell Junction.
