Dear Betty, Coleen and Patrick,
I will always remember Brian as having one of the best attitudes of any of our Crest Litho employees. He was always cheerful and ready to pitch in on whatever bindery job needed his expertise.
I last time I saw Brian he was running the perfect binding machine at GBS in the early 2000s who were renting the former Crest building and struggling to meet the rent due. At Crest we always filled out job time sheets which Brian would do noting the time he started each job and the time he finished and any other issues as a machine part broke or the glue pot overheated from the prior crew. Input from the operators such as Brian, was needed to make sure the job was quoted properly and was profitable. I asked Brian where his job ticket and time sheet were and he said they no longer used them- we both knew that would be a problem.
We had some great production crews at Crest Litho and I am proud to have been able to work with Brian and will always remember him.
