Obituary of Robert C. Benjamin

ROBERT C. BENJAMIN Loudonville- Robert C. Benjamin, 94 of Loudonville, passed into eternal life on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center, in Albany. Born in Cooperstown, NY on July 7, 1923, he was the son of the late L. William Benjamin and Hilda Mason. He graduated from Philip Schuyler High School and Empire State College he then proudly served during World War II in the United States Navy. Bob was married to the former Ann L. "Nancy" O'Brien and shared a loving and devoted union of 67 years prior to her passing on July 23, 2015. Bob was employed with Clarity Publishing Company in Albany as a Plant Manager. He enjoyed the outdoors especially skiing, swimming and many summers in Schroon Lake Bob is survived by his loving daughter Joyce B. (David) Weiler of Ballston Lake, his cherished grandson Joseph D. Weiler and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings Richard Benjamin and Dawn Wolanin. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday December 21, 2017 from 9:00-10:00 am at St. Pius X Chapel, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville with Bob's Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:15 am immediately following the visitation with Fr. James Walsh officiating. Interment with military honors will take place in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
