MARCIA CATHERINE VON STETINA Latham-Marcia Catherine Von Stetina, 89 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Francis Joseph Von Stetina, entered into eternal life on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at St. Peter's Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Albany. Born in Albany, on January 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Harry and the late Agnes Mary (Clark) Bellswinger. Marcia was a former member of both St. Ambrose Church and St. Pius X Church. She was a former member of the choir at St. Ambrose and a Eucharistic Minister there. She was a Registered Nurse employed for many years at Albany Memorial Hospital, Saint Coleman's Home, The Albany County Health Department and Siena College. Her greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her beloved family. Survivors include her loving children Mark Von Stetina of Richmond VA, Gary (Maureen) Von Stetina of Collegeville, PA, Katherine (Richard) Irwin of Kingwood TX, Jean (Michael) Scammacca of Sugarloaf Key, FL and Waterford, NY, Joseph (Paula) Von Stetina of Loudonville, her cherished grandchildren Courtney (Jonathan) Levy, Christopher Irwin, Eric Von Stetina, Marybeth Von Stetina, Gabriela Scammacca, Nicholas Scammacca, Stefan Von Stetina and Franz Von Stetina, She was the Aunt of : Monica Kiwus Adams, Laura Kiwus Green and Leslie Kiwus Lynch. Marcia was predeceased by her sisters Sr. Jean Ellen Bellswinger and Helen (Donald) Kiwus and A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 13, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Pius X Church 23 Crumitie Rd. Loudonville, with Rev. James Walsh officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will be next to her husband in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
