WARREN R. THEILEMANN
Latham- Warren R. Theilemann, 87 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 4, 2017 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's with his loving family by his side.
Born in Troy on April 23, 1929, he was the son of the late Julius and Leona LaBarron Theilemann. Warren was married to the former Joanne M. Cavanaugh Bleau for over 32 years.
Warren was a warm, loving soul that added joy to everything he participated in; he had a genuine love for everyone and never spoke an unkind word.
He was employed with the Norton Co. for over 35 years and Intermagnetics General Corp. for 15 y ears as an Expediter. He was also a member of the Colonie Elks Lodge #2192. Warren was an avid bowler for many years on leagues at Latham Sparetime and Green Island Lanes, bowling a 300 game on one occasion. In his younger years he coached his sons in the South Troy Little League and South Troy Babe Ruth Baseball He was also a high school basketball referee in the Capital District for many years.
In addition to his beloved wife Joanne, he is survived by his children: Robert W. (Linda) Theilemann, Brian J. (Joann) Theilemann, Kenneth (Jeannette Maturo) Bleau, Deborah (Robert Dillon) Bleau, Susan (John) Delano and Michael (Iliana) Bleau, his cherished grandchildren: Chelsea, Robert, Brian (Elizabeth), Nicole Theilemann, Annie & Jenna Delano, Katherine Everitt, Jack, Nicholas and Giana Bleau, his adored great-granddaughters: Sophie and Alexa Mulford and Caroline Theilemann, his nephew Mark (Jayne) Theilemann, his niece Leona (The late Gerald) Lapp, and his brother-in-law David (Waldi) Cavanauagh. He was predeceased by his first wife Jean Zalucki Theilemann, his sister Shirley (Ed) Theilemann and his brother-in-law Joseph (Janet) Cavanaugh.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday February 10, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham.
There will be a private service for Warren celebrated on Saturday February 11, 2017 at 10:00 am, for the immediate family only, at the funeral home with Deacon Helmut Neurohr officiating.
