EVA U. STRINI
Latham- Eva U. Strini, 93 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Bruno P. Strini, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 17, 2016 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center.
Born in Madison Heights, VA on August 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Boyd) Upright. Eva was married to Bruno Strini on Oct. 26, 1946 and the two shared a wonderful & blessed union of 65 years prior to his passing on December 28, 2011
Eva graduated from Kerhonkson High School and was a graduate from the Benedictine Hospital School of Nursing in 1944.
She was a Registered Nurse at Albany Memorial Hospital for many years, retiring in 1976. Eva was also a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham.
Eva is survived by her loving children: Linda Nygaard of Denmark, Evelyn (Kenneth) Schultz of Castleton, Susan Bentley of Morris, NY and Thomas J. (Carol) Strini of NC; 11 cherished grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren as well as her in-laws: Barbara Upright, Ida Maloy and Robert Strini.
In keeping with Eva's wishes there will be no visitation.
Memorial services for Eva and Bruno will be celebrated on Saturday April 27, 2017 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet Shaker Road, Latham with Fr. Burke officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made in Eva's memory to the O.L.A. Building Fund or the charity of ones choice.
