Mrs. King was one of my instructors in the Capital Region BOCES nursing course. I will always cherish the time I spent with her. She was such a special person and so very dedicated to nursing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Dear Ed and Family, We are sorry to hear of your mother's death. You all must be so sad. It is always difficult to lose your mother, as I know. Your mom seemed to be way ahead of her time (based on the information in the obituary). She was a very educated and seemingly caring woman in a time when higher education was virtually unheard of for women. You must have been very proud of her accomplishments and I am sure they and she have had a positive impact on your family in many ways. We will be keeping you all in our thoughts as you journey through this sad time.

Dorothy was a wonderful woman whose life lit up the world and people who surrounded her! I enjoyed working with her during her time as a substitute school nurse at Niskayuna and enjoyed spending time with her renewing our friendship after she retired. I am sorry for your loss and know that she will be greatly missed by many.
