Obituary of William Christopher Norton

WILLIAM C. NORTON Malta- William Christopher Norton, 54 of Malta, beloved husband of Gina M. Ogden Norton, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Born in Waltham, MA on June 18, 1962, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Claudette (Belliveau) Norton. Bill proudly served in the United States Navy from 1984 until 1990. Bill was formerly a Chief Nuclear Test Engineer at Newport News in Milton, New York. He had a love for the game of golf and blackjack and was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins, Red Sox and Patriots. He loved to teach others and helping his family especially his children. Bill was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Ballston Spa. In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving children: Kimberly (Yader Rivas Aguilar) Rivas of FL, Alex (Lauren Donaghy) Norton of FL and Mariah Norton of Malta as well as his brother: Michael Norton of Washington, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Bill is predeceased by his sister Dee McGee. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Bill that will be celebrated on Thursday September 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at Christ Episcopal Church, 15 West High Street, Ballston Spa with Fr. Derik Roy officiating. Interment with full military honors will take place at Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
