Obituary of Theresa H. Tyrrell

THERESA H. TYRRELL Latham- Theresa H. Tyrrell, 72 of Latham, beloved wife of Michael J. Tyrrell, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Troy on June 12, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Michael F. and Stella (Hoodak) Stasack. Theresa was married to Michael J. Tyrrell on April 15, 1977 and the two shared a blessed union of 39 years of love and devotion prior to her passing. Theresa was employed at Siena College Friary in Loudonville for 28 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham. She enjoyed many years playing cards in her Euchre Club. Theresa also enjoyed bowling with the "happy housewives" at Latham bowl. In addition to her beloved husband she is survived by her loving daughters: Denise (Aaron) Luczak of Latham and Elizabeth (Brian) Mazza of Niskayuna.She is also survived by her six cherished grandchildren: Lara, Riley and Zachary Luczak, Samuel, Sophia and Scarlett Theresa Mazza. She cherished in her heart the memory of her granddaughter Ava Rose Mazza who passed away on May 14, 2010. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday September 8, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Theresa's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 9, 2016 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham.
