Harry, I am so sorry for your loss. I first remember meeting Jan over 20 years ago and was able to know her a little better over the past 5 years or so. It's obvious she had such a strong fighting spirit and was never lacking a glowing smile whenever I would meet her or the cheerfulness in her voice was always apparent when talking on the phone. She really was quite a lady.I know that myself and many others will miss her but I cannot imagine just how much this is for you. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Elison Weis.

Harry and Family,
I was so sad to hear of the passing of Jan, she was a pillar of our St. Peters Family. Her hands have touched so much of our church, from the beautiful flowers that grace the front of our church to tapestry she helped to have restored. Jan had a special grace that can not be measured in a few short words.
I will look through my pictures to finds some special memories of her.
Again let me express my deepest and most heart felt condolences.

The first time I met Jan and Harry was in 1962 when I went to work as the receptionist for Bookstein, Zubres and D'Agostino. I babysat for Harry, Jr. and Dee several times on Gregory Lane. I left the firm to start my family and then came back to work for Harry again in 1988. Over the years Jan and I talked many times on the phone and most recently I picked Jan up from a doctor's appointment no more than a month ago and she was waiting for me outside the doctor's office. I offered to assist her and she declined saying she was fine. What a strong woman she was and so cordial and so grateful for the ride home. I know she will be missed not only by her family but also her co-workers and her friends. Martha Lasher-Warner
