Obituary of Dianne M. Badi

DIANNE M. BADI Menands- Dianne M. Badi, 82 of Menands, beloved wife of Rudolph "Rudy" J. Badi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Community Hospice at Memorial Hospital, in Albany. Born in Albany on January 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (D'Amico) Colletti. Dianne was married to Rudy on November 23, 1950 and the two shared a blessed union of love and devotion for almost 66 years prior to her passing. Dianne was in Customer Service with Price Chopper on Delaware Avenue in Albany for many years. At one time she also was employed with Boscov's in Colonie Center for several years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed dancing and was a former bowler. She was also a member of the P.T.A. In addition to her beloved husband Rudy, she is survived by her loving children: Michelle (Christopher) Coughlin of Fairlee, VT, Lawrence Badi of Colonie and Andrew Badi of Myrtle Beach, SC.; as well as her seven cherished grandchildren: Casey Keil, Joseph Marino, Lawrence Badi Jr., Dylan Badi, Michael Kopp, Brittney Badi and Maria Badi and her adored Great Granddaughter: Giana Badi and many nieces and nephews. Dianne is predeceased by her grandson: Anthony Badi. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday July 14, 2016 from 5:00 pm. until 7:00 p.m. at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday July 15 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Deacon Frank Garceau officiating. Due to cemetery regulations in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Dianne's memory to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 Interment will take place in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
