Obituary of Maureen R. Mackesey

MAUREEN R. MACKESEY East Greenbush- Maureen R. Mackesey, 56 of East Greenbush and formerly of Loudonville, entered into eternal life on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at her home. Born in Albany on April 11, 1960, she was the daughter of the late William F. Mackesey Sr. and Rita (Dittus) Mackesey. Maureen worked in the banking industry as a customer service representative for over 25 years most recently with Bank of America. She was an avid reader and loved gardening. Her greatest joy in life was the times she spent with her cherished nieces, nephews and grand nieces. Survivors include her siblings William Mackesey Jr., Michael (Cindy) Mackesey, Kathleen (Ray) Jacobs, Timothy (Mindy) Mackesey, Sharon (Stephen) Dybas, Patricia (Scott) Messick, Eileen Mackesey, and Kevin (Cindy) Mackesey. Her nieces and nephews Heather, Caitlin, William III, Casey, Amy, Kelly, Jim, Patrick, Shannon, Andrew, Jared, Pamela, Erin, Stephanie, Sean and Ryan, 4 grand nieces Lexus, Mya, Ava and Madison. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 22, 2016 at10:00 a.m. in the Dufresne and Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd. Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be with her parents in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
