Obituary of Francis Victor Dow

FRANCIS VICTOR DOW Latham – Francis Victor Dow, 85 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Queensbury on July 31, 1930, he was the son of the late Casimir and Helen (Bielkewicz) Domaszewicz. He was a graduate of Siena College and then received his JD from Albany Law School. Frank married the former Marcia Conron on May 15, 1970 and the two shared a blessed union of 46 years prior to his passing. Frank was an Assistant Attorney General for New York State in Albany for over 30 years, retiring in 2000. He was a daily communicant of St. Pius X Church in Loudonville. In addition to his beloved wife Marcia, he is survived by his loving children: Michael (Annette) Dow of Phoenix MD, Matthew (Deborah) Dow of Baltimore, MD, Christopher (Sage) Dow of Hampden MA, Marcy (Thomas) Ryan of Clifton Park and Jennifer (James) Kilcullen of Trumbull CT. Thirteen grandchildren: Matthew, Connor, Emeline, Hannah, Kathryn, Camden, Amory, William, Quinlan, Juliette, Francis, Sean and Eamon as well as his brother: Casimir Domaszewicz of CA and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings: Leon and Clement Domaszewicz and Barbara Abromaitis Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday June 19, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham Frank's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Frank's memory to Community Hospice Foundation, 315 S. Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208 The family would like to thank Heavens Little Angels for their special care and compassion given to Frank. Interment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
