Obituary of Helen F Lamb

HELEN F. LAMB East Greenbush- Helen F. Lamb, 90 of East Greenbush and formerly of Poughkeepsie and Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 9, 2016 at Van Rensselaer Manor in North Greenbush. Born July 15, 1925 in Hudson New York, She was the daughter of the late Bennett and Margaret Pearl Feller. Helen married Robert N. Lamb on the 4th of July in 1948 and the two shared a blessed union of 52 years prior to his passing on July 26, 2000. She and Bob were residents of Poughkeepsie for 40 years prior to moving to Ocala Florida in 1989. At one time Helen was a Secretary employed with the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office in Poughkeepsie for 18 years before retiring in 1970. Following that she was a part time secretary for Liberty Mutual Insurance and Community Insurance Group in Poughkeepsie. She is survived by her three cherished grandchildren: Renee Wyman and Tara Ouellette and Elizabeth Hebert as well as her 5 great grandchildren: Shane Robert Wyman, Matthew David Bruckner, Abigail Lucy Wyman, Timmy J. Bruckner and Lily Gail Doolittle and several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her daughter Gail M. Hebert and her brother Harold Feller Graveside services for Helen will be celebrated on Saturday July 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 938 Watervliet Shaker Road, Albany where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Robert.
