NINA C. MAREK Saratoga Springs- Nina C. Marek, 93 of Saratoga Springs, beloved wife of the late Stanley M. Marek, passed away peacefully Tuesday June 2, 2009 at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs where she was currently a resident. Born in Town Of Fulton on April 14, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Lottie (Mickel) Perue. Nina lived in Boca Raton Florida for over 30 years before relocating to Schenectady. At one time she was employed as a Seamstress at various locations. She was also a longtime volunteer for the Woman's Auxiliary of the VFW. She is survived by her daughter Linda M. Marek of Schenectady, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews with special mention to her nieces Judith Van Patten and Sandra Lee Hogan. Nina is predeceased by her son Harold Marek her sisters; Iva Pavlic and Arletta Sheridan as well as her brothers; Virgil, Millard, David, and Vernon Perue and niece Shirley Pavlic. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday from 10:00- 11:00 am at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am immediately following the visitation at the funeral home. with Rev.
