Through the magic of FB Denis and I reconnected just before Christmas last year. We had such a nice discussion about the old days back in New City. One of the original 'Ardsley boys', we were classmates in kindergarten at Woodglen and stayed friends through high school despite the numerous fights we had. It seemed that Denis was in a great place when we chatted back in December after 20+ years of going our own way. We both left New City in 1982. He served in the Navy. I went to college. Neither of us ever looked back. He mentioned his boys and his grand daughter. He sounded vey content with his life. I can't believe that he's now gone. The Ardsley crew will miss you, Cubby. You and your family have been in my prayers since I heard the news on Saturday. Please accept my sincere condolences. RIP old friend.
