Obituary of Alexander F. Stopera

ALEXANDER F. STOPERA Latham-Alexander F. Stopera born on October 10, 1991 entered eternal life on Sunday, March 13, 2016. He was the cherished son of Frank and Paula Stopera and beloved brother to Amanda Goyer, brother-in-law Chris Goyer and uncle of Roen Goyer. He is survived by a very large and loving extended family. Alex worked at CAP COM Federal Credit Union for the past several years. He had a wonderful sense of humor that all of his friends and family will remember forever. Alex had a thrill for the outdoors and loved downhill skiing. His favorite pastime was spending summers on Lake George with his family and friends. Alex had one obsession in life; his love for his Dog, Roxy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will be in Memory Garden's, Colonie.
