ANN M. D'AMICO Latham - Ann M. D'Amico, 85 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Frank W. D'Amico, entered into eternal life on Wednesday March 9, 2016 at the Teresian House in Albany. Born in Troy, Ann was the daughter of the late George F. and Lillian R. (Arndt) Riley. She was raised in Watervliet where she was a 1949 graduate of Watervliet High School. She married her beloved Frank W. D'Amico on October 26, 1952 at the original St. Ambrose Church in Latham and the two shared 63 years of marriage prior to his passing October 28, 2015. Ann was a Secretary for the Loss Control Engineers at Hartford Insurance Co. in Albany for many years. She also worked at the NYS Department of Civil Service, where she was active in the Employees' Health Service Department. She volunteered Our Lady of Hope Residence in Latham for many years. Ann was a past president of the Colonie Elks Lodge #2192 Ladies Auxiliary from 1964-1965, and was a member of the Colonie Republican Committee. Survivors include her loving daughter Alisa (Christopher) D'Amico LaRue of Latham, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday March 13, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday March 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will be next to her beloved Frank in St. Patrick's Cemetery Watervliet. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Teresian House for the wonderful care given to Ann and Frank during their stays with them.
