I just recently returned to the Capital District from Florida & heard about Wanda ... For family & friends I want to let you know that Wanda was a strong presence at OMH ... I was her last supervisor & miss her thoughts on what would be best .. She was a constant reminder of what was right vs wrong .. I was always enjoyed her views & made me laugh many times ... I did not want her to retire but she had other thoughts ... I hope she enjoyed her days away from OMH ... Please know she was always loved even when she spoke her mind ... She was special

I am very sorry to hear of Wanda's passing. I went to Shaker High School and graduated in 1972 with her. She was a very special and kind sole, and did much to help others. My sincere condolences are sent to her loved ones, as she enters the peace she so deserves.

To the Lubinski family, on February 24th your lost was felt my so many. Wanda is gone physically, but spiritually she will be around for a long time. Wanda was such a remarkable woman and was proud to call her friend. We were fellow classmates at Shaker High class of 1972. She did such a remarkable job in planning our class reunions that she was given the name Honorary Queen of the reunions. Although I haven't seen her in quite awhile, we kept in touch with social media, Facebook and emails.
Wanda had one wish that she wanted to do and I am sure she is swimming with the sea turtles now.
I will miss you girlfriend. You are never too be forgotten.
