Dan & family, I bowled with Ernie for many years and Ernie was the epitome of excellence and sportsmanship on as well as off the lanes.If someone else bowled well, he was right there to congratulate them. When we were done it was always a pleasure to have a cocktail with him and listen and learn how well he associated with everyone with his captivating smile and humor. He led by example and that will be my most treasured memory. Ernie left us way too soon. He will be missed by one and all.

Dear Danny & Family, I will remember your Dad and our many talks about our days with St. Ambrose basketball. We always talked about our "sons" and how they enjoyed it--but I think Dad and I had even a better time. There is nothing better than two men remembering good times with their sons. Dan and Claudia, My deepest sympathy for your loss. Ernie was a good man and a trusted friend who never had a bad word to say about anyone. Saratoga will not be the same without him. Used to love going through the racing form together while enjoying the sights and sounds of the race track. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to all the lives that will be affected by Ernie's much to early departure.
