I remember being in her art class, it was the best part of the day. She was the reason I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember. She never failed to put a smile on all of our faces no matter how hard school was. “The earth without art is eh” will always be in my heart as a remembrance of what an amazing, cheerful, and overall awesome teacher, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, granddaughter she was and always will be.

Michelle you will be missed by many. I didn't know you as well as I should have. I don't keep in contact with family like I should. Thanks to facebook I am able to learn more and more about you. I'm sure you were a great Art Teacher and you will not only be missed by family and friends but by all your students.
From what I have learned these last few days is that you touched the lives of so many people. Too bad it had to end so soon. Only thing I can say is maybe God needed you with him.
You will always be in the hearts of the ones that love you.
Your time on earth was done. Now you are in the Glory of God and his heavenly hosts.

Although I did not know Michelle personally, I am certain when I say that the world lost a beautiful person when it lost her. I attended college with Michelle's sister Elizabeth and have remained in contact with her. Elizabeth always spoke very highly of her sister. My heart breaks for the family, friends and students. What an amazing soul!

We send our deepest condolences to Cris and Michelle's family. We are so lucky to have known her and grateful for the time that we shared together. Michelle touched more lives than she knew.
