Obituary of Keith Clifford Hansen Sr.

KEITH CLIFFORD HANSEN SR. COLONIE- Keith Clifford Hansen Sr., 87 of Albany, beloved husband of Patricia Hill Hansen, entered into eternal life on Sunday October 25, 2015 at his home with his loving family at his side. Born in Albany, he was son of the late Hans and Martha (Keller) Hansen. Keith married the love of his life Patricia Hill and the two have shared a beautiful marriage of over 54 years. He was a graduate of Milne High School and attended Siena College in Loudonville. He was the owner and operator of Hansen Paint & Tool Rental in Albany for over 60 years. He was a member of the Ancient Temple Masonic Lodge #14 in Albany for over 60 years where he served as Master. A lifelong resident of the Capital District Keith was a kind, caring man with a great sense of humor. He had a deep love for his wife and family. He loved poetry, history, the New York Yankees, bowling and fishing. Survivors in addition to his wife include his loving children: Keith "Casey" (Heather) Hansen Jr. of Albany, Kent (Kellie) Hansen of Troy and Kimberly (PJ Beaudry) Hansen of Loudonville, his cherished grandchildren Chelsea Woods, Ryan Hansen, Conner Hansen, Justin Hansen, Dylan Hansen, Ian Hansen, Abigail Hansen and Giana Hansen and his caregiver, Richard McElreth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Keith was predeceased by his brother Bruce Hansen and sister Audrey Hansen. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday October 29, 2015 from 4-7 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham, Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday October 30 at 10:00 am at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Randy Anson officiating Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery Menands. The family would like to thank his team of Doctors, Nurses and staff at the cardiac infusion program for the love and care given to Keith during his time with them.
