JEAN A. KERN
Latham- Jean A. Kern, 88 of Latham, wife of the late Arnold O. Kern, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's, in Albany.
Born in Jamaica Hospital in Richmond Hill, NYC on April 18, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Sarah (Harmsworth) Walther.
Jean was a Human Resource Director with Syracuse Newspapers in Syracuse for many years. She was also a member of Delmar Presbyterian Church in Delmar.
She is survived by her loving son: Richard (Marge) Kieley of Latham, 2 cherished grandsons; Jason and Christopher and her adored great granddaughter Anna Rose. Jean is predeceased by her sister: Marjorie Wallek.
Graveside services will be held at a date and time to be announced at Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY
