FRANCES K. FANNIFF Latham - Frances K. Fanniff, 86 of Latham, beloved wife of the late James J. Fanniff, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Samaritan Hospital, in Troy. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late John and Freida (Philputt) Comeau. She married her beloved husband James J. Fanniff on February 14, 1942 and the two shared a blessed union of 64 years until his passing in 2006. Mrs. Fanniff has resided in Latham since 1968 and was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham. She was a homemaker with a special love of her two sons and their families Survivors include her children James (Barbara) Fanniff of Cohoes, Robert (Jean) Fanniff of Latham, Her grandchildren Kara Fanniff, Kendra (Richard) Muckle, Kimberly Fanniff, Todd Fanniff and Amanda Fanniff; her great-grandchildren, Taylor and Jenna Muckle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday June 14, 2008 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of The Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham with Rev. Geoffrey Burke, pastor officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday from 4-7 P.M. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. Contributions in memory of Frances may be made to the Our Lady of the Assumption Memorial Fund 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road Latham, NY 12110.
