RAYMOND E. WICKES CLIFTON PARK- Raymond E. Wickes, 70 of Clifton Park , passed away Friday, March 28, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born October 7, 1937 in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Egbert A. and Odile A. (Dupree) Wickes. He was a graduate of Watervliet High School and Hudson Valley Community College with an Associates Degree and later attended Russell Sage College. He started his career in the material handling field and held key sales positions with WB Maguire, Brooks and Perkins, Serco and ended his career as Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Bluff Manufacturing in Fort Worth TX retiring in 2004. Survivors include his loving daughters Linda Wickes of TX and Cynthia McCarthy of NV, his cherished granddaughters Kensington Lenox and Enid McCarthy, his dear sister Marilyn Eells and brother in law Charles Eells of Clifton Park, he is also survived by his Uncle Robert Wickes of Mechanicville and several nieces, nephews and dear friends Jon and Marion Olson. Funeral Services will be held Monday March 31, 2008 at 11:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham, with Rays Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Fr. Francis Dubois. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
