JODY JEAN (NELSON) HARTNETT Loudonville - Jody Jean (Nelson) Hartnett, 57 of Loudonville, beloved wife of Robert W. Hartnett for over 37 years, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at Albany Memorial Hospital with her cherished family at her side. Born in Salina, Kansas, she was the daughter of Barbara Eileen (Loy) Nelson of Salina, Kansas and the late Darrel D Nelson. She attended Kansas public schools and was a graduate of Tescott High School in Tescott Kansas. She married Robert W. Hartnett on December 12, 1970 and the two have shared a wonderful marriage. Jody was a wonderful wife and mother who cherished her time with her children and watching them grow. Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include her loving children James R. Hartnett of Loudonville, Sarah R. Hartnett of Schenectady and Michael P. Hartnett of Loudonville, her sister Pamela K. (Larry) Nelson Strahan of Salina KS, she was predeceased by her brother, Bruce D. Nelson Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands. Memorial contributions to The Huntingtons Disease Society of America 505 Eighth Ave. Suite 902 New York, NY 10018 in memory of Jody would be appreciated.
