DAVID A. TOMILSON
Schoharie- David A. Tomilson, 60 of Schoharie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in the comfort of his home.
Born in Newtonville NY on November 29, 1947, he was the son of the late Arthur E. and Agnes Tomilson. He proudly served his country during Vietnam in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1972.
Dave was a Self Employed Landscaper for 30 years and truly loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed digging for antiques with his brother Jeff. He loved his best friend and faithful canine companion Manitu.
Survivors include his sister: Lisa Longendyke of Schoharie, and his brother: Jeffrey J. Longendyke of East Berne, as well as 4 nieces and nephew.
Dave is predeceased by his sister, Mary Agnes Longendyke
Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday March 13 from 10:00- 11:00 am at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00 am with Deacon Helmut Neurohr officiating.
Interment with military honors will take place in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
