Obituary of Audrey Jean Forgett

AUDREY JEAN FORGETT COLONIE - Audrey Jean Forgett, 76 of Albany, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, December 21, 2007 at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's, in Albany. Born in Albany, NY on July 14, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ester (Roan) Nichols. She was joined in union to Albert F. Forgett. In her spare time Audrey truly enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City. Audrey was employed as a Clerk for the NYS Student Loan Service Center in Rensselaer, a position she retired from in October 2005 after 24 years of service. Survivors in addition to her beloved husband Al include her three loving daughters: Jean (Craig) Mullen, Linda Peterson, & Valarie (Andy) Smith all of Colonie; 3 cherished Grandchildren; Wendy McFee, Cristy Viscusi, & Christopher Smith; her great grandchildren; Samantha McFee, Sarah McFee, Ariana Viscusi, and Sabrina Viscusi; 2 Great Great Granddogs: Bear and Uggie and her brother Howard (Nick) Nichols and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham on Sunday December 23 from 1:00-3:30 pm. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:30 pm immediately following the visitation at the funeral home where a Celebration of Audreys life will be celebrated by Rev. Michael Farano.
