Obituary of Janet L. Campbell

JANET L. CAMPBELL Latham- Janet L. Campbell, 91, a resident of Latham since 1953, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Community Hospice at Samaritan Hospital, in Troy. Born in Walloomsack, NY on March 23, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Frederick H. and Lillian May (Stewart) Vogler. She was joined in a blessed union with the late Albert I. Campbell who preceded her in death on July 8, 1990. Janet was a loving and devoted homemaker whose family was the center of her life. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, sewing and gardening as well as the art of ballroom dancing. She is survived by her two sons: Albert I. (Lou Anne) Campbell Jr. of Valley Falls, and Thomas C. (Lillian) Campbell of Claverack. She cherished in her heart the memory of her late son Robert Scott Campbell. She is also survived by her 6 loving grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Janet is predeceased by her sisters; Emiline Gates, Albertina Reynolds, Lena Corbett and her brothers; Charles and Edward Vogler. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the 4th Fl.
