Obituary of Augustina M. Franze

Latham- Augustina M. Tina Franze, 97 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 25, 2007 at Our Lady of Hope Residence in Latham where she has been a resident since 1995. Born in Ontario, Canada on March 29, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Marfisi) Amodeo. She resided in East Greenbush for several years and later in Albany. Augustina was joined in marriage to Charles A. Franze; the two shared a blessed union of 56 years prior to his passing in 1987. Survivors include her loving children; Gus C.(Grace) Franze of Glenmont, Ann Marie Howder of Yorktown, Va., Tony J. (Carol) Franze of Hudson, Fl. & Charlie F. Franze of Tampa. She is also survived by her 7 cherished grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. Augustina is predeceased by her sisters; Josephine Pusateri , Frances Passafiume and Kate Amodeo, her brothers Anthony Amodeo, Salvatore Amodeo and Leo Amodeo. Funeral services for Augustina will be private at the convenience of the family from Our Lady of Hope Chapel in Latham. Augustina will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
