Obituary of David A. Rinaldi

DAVID A. RINALDI Latham- David A. Rinaldi, 87 of Latham, beloved husband of Ruby L.M. Dietz Rinaldi, died Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Saugerties, he was the son of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Della Morte) Rinaldi. He was a graduate of Saugerties High School and the Albany Business College Mr. Rinaldi married his beloved Ruby L.M. Dietz on July 21, 1945 and the two have shared a blessed union for over 62 years. David was a Accountant, employed by Cluett Peabody & Co. in Troy, New York for over 40 years and retired in 1985. He was a Latham Resident since 1951 and a longtime communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham. David was referred to by his friends as "The nicest man on earth" as a result of his kind and gentle spirit. Survivors in addition to his wife include his two loving daughters Donna Melius of Boynton Beach, FL and Marcia Fazio of Guilderland his cherished grandchildren, Maria Melius, David Melius, Gina Melius, Christina Fazio, Alicia Fazio and Michael Fazio, his sisters Billie Yadack of Boca Raton , FL and Virginia Worby of California and brother Anthony Rinaldi of Catskill, he was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday September 26, 2007 at 10:15 a.m. from the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd. Latham and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd, Latham where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Pastor Francis DuBois.
