ANNE FANTOZZI Troy- Anne Fantozzi, 96 , died Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Van Rensselaer Manor, in Troy. Where she resided since June 2005. Born in Manhatten, on October 1, 1910, Anne was the daughter of the late Vincent and the late Nancy (Rasulo) Fusco and beloved wife of the late Vincent Fantozzi Sr. Annes five older brothers and sisters George, Lucy, Antoinette, Salvatore and Angelina all predeceased her. Anne spent most of her life in Bronx, NY where she and her loving husband Vincent raised three children. Anne worked as a hairdresser and colorist for many years and owned her own salon in Manhatten. Anne and her husband enjoyed ballroom dancing, a hobby Anne continued until her early 90s. Annes three children daughters Cecelia Tocco (Salvatore) of Jupiter Florida, and Nancy Rosa (Al) of Puerto Rico and son, Vincent, Jr. (Susan) of Loudonville survive her as do 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, several cousins, nieces, nephews and her cherished godson Francis Fajella, his sister Marguerite and Annes loyal friend, Jimmy Fusco. The Fantozzi family wish to thank the staff of Van Rensselaer Manor, particularly, the staff of B-1 and B-2, for the very good care, friendship and compassion they extended to Anne the past 2 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday September 12, 2007 at 9:00 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday September 11, 2007 from 5-9 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home 149 Old Loudon Rd. Latham, NY 12110. Interment will be in St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx at a later date. In Annes last written message she wanted her son and daughters to know how much she loved them and that there were no words to describe how much she loved her family.
