NORMAN R. FEIDEN Latham- Norman R. Feiden, 76 of Latham, passed away Thursday March 26, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, in Troy. Born in Troy on January 19, 1933, he was the son of the late Frank T. and Mabel (VanBramer) Feiden. He was the owner and operator for over 30 years of the Norm Feiden Landscaping Co. Earlier in 1954 he opened Norm's Friendly Market on Route 155. Norm was an avid Nascar fan with his favorite driver being Dale Earnhardt. He also loved gardening and the sport of baseball. Norm was a 48 year member of the Colonie Elks #2192. He is survived by Phyllis Feiden of Latham; his loving children Rick (Diana) Feiden of Cohoes and Lu Ann (Paul) Akins of Latham; his cherished grandchildren Courtney & Eric Feiden and Jenna & Erin Akins. As well as devoted companion Donna Megan. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 9:30 am at St. Augustine's Church, 25 115th Street, Troy where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. James Spenard. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 2-5 PM at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY.
