ALFRED JOSEPH GRAGNOLATI Windsor Locks Connecticut- Alfred Joseph Gragnolati, 86 of Windsor Locks, beloved husband of the late Marion Hyland Gragnolati, entered eternal life Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's, in Albany. Born in Windsor Locks, CT, he was son of the late Alfredo and Cornelia (Oliva) Gragnolati. He was a graduate of Windsor Locks High and also attended Bates College in Lewiston Maine. He was the beloved husband of the late Marion Hyland Gragnolati who died in 2007. Al was a Manager with Rocari Industries in Granby Ct. for many years before his retirement. He was a member of Knights of Columbus 4th Degree and served as Grand Knight. Al served in the Connecticut State Legislature. He also served on the Board of Selectmen, as well as serving as the Assessor and on the Zoning Board of Appeals all in Windsor Locks. Survivors include his loving children Brian A. (Donna) Gragnolati of Chevy Chase MD and Susan (John) Kopp of Loudonville, his cherished grandchildren Ben Gragnolati, Kate Gragnolati, Hailey Kopp and Paige Kopp, He was predeceased by his brother Francis Gragnolati. Graveside services will be held on Saturday April 18, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Windsor Locks, CT.
