Obituary of Susan M. Bourk

SUSAN M. BOURK Clifton Park-Susan M. Bourk, 76 of Clifton Park, entered into eternal life on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late William T. Sr. and Mary Josephine (Carroll) Bourk. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy. A Clifton Park resident since 1965, she was employed by New York State Tax & Finance in Albany for many years prior to her retirement. After retirement she worked the welcoming receptionist at the Clifton Park public library. Susan had a passion for politics and was an active member of Congressman Chris Gibson's campaign committee. Survivors include loving children George E. (Sharon) Nash Jr. of Ballston Lake, Dr. Mary Elizabeth Nash of Clifton Park, her cherished granddaughters, Erika Nash and Nicole Nash both of Ballston Lake, her nephews Joseph, John, William and Michael Frey. Susan was predeceased by her dear son James Nash, her brother William T. Bourk Jr. and her twin sister Sally Frey. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Fruitful Vine Christian Church, 9 Burning Bush Blvd, Ballston Lake. In keeping with her wishes there will be no calling hours.
