Obituary of Anne Capitula Yuzynko

ANNE CAPITULA YUZYNKO Latham-Anne Yuzynko, 87 of Latham, wife of the late John Yuzynko, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, in Troy. Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late Nikita and Rosalia Yushak Kapitula. Anne was a graduate of Maplewood Elementary school and Watervliet High School. She was raised in Watervliet and moved to Latham in 1964. Anne was a secretary for Penetryn Systems in Latham for many years and later worked for the Cohoes Senior Service Center as a secretary and receptionist. She was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham where she was a member of the Rosary Society and the Young at Heart group. Survivors include her son William (Helen) Yuzynko of Latham, her cherished grandchildren Dianna (Keith Manscuk) Yuzynko, Billy Yuzynko, Cierra Pulver and Michael Yuzynko, her daughter-in-law Becky Yuzynko, her niece Jeanne (Andrew) Gunther and several nieces and nephews as well as her brother Michael (Late Joan) Capitula of Watervliet. In addition to her parents and husband Anne was pre-deceased by her son John M. "Jack" Yuzynko. Anne had a love of the arts and soap operas. If she wasn't watching the latest figure skating event, she was catching up on all the week's drama on The Young and the Restless. When she wasn't with her grandchildren, you could find her handicapping the daily Saratoga races. Had she actually bet, she would have been a millionaire. Anne devoted her life to her loved ones. Her children and grandchildren are blessed to have been raised by such a woman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. John Cairns officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 4-7 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY.
