I was given the privledge to work with Kara for a brief time at Davis Vision. I was lucky to got to know her a bit through conversations at lunch or break. She was such a hardworking, dedicated, kind, thoughtful, optimistic and sweet person; I loved talking with her. She showed me what having a strong, determined and generous spirit was - her light always shined through no matter how she felt. I cannot express how sad I am for all of here having lost her, but I know she's looking down on us all, sending her light to warm us. We will always remember Karas totally creative and sweet personality .. we were so lucky that she spent so much time at our house during high school and after ... with
Daryl ,Sam and Wes .. one time in high school she even bravely cleaned Sams room,,, which was hazmat material for sure ... took her the whole day.... and she did it with a smile ... I always used to to joke with her about that years later.... she always wore colorful outfits that made me smile,,, the make up career was perfect for her ,,, she was soo talented at make up .... and she was sweet and friendly...and a joy to be with ... Don, Cheryl, Scott and Holly we are broken hearted at the passing of our beautiful, full of life, silly, determined, hard headed, big hearted Kara. Her smile was contagious and what a gift she was.
