Obituary of Anthony F. Del Signore Jr.

ANTHONY F. DEL SIGNORE JR. Latham- Anthony F. Del Signore Jr., 70 of Latham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Troy on November 7, 1944, he was the son of the late Anthony F. and Irene A. (Ross) Del Signore Sr. At one time Anthony worked as a Packer in the Warehouse for the Golub Corp. in Schenectady for over 20 years. He then was employed for 12 years in the warehouse at Al-Tech Specialty Steel in Watervliet, eventually retiring. Tony was an avid car collector and enthusiast especially loving Corvettes. He also enjoyed boating on Lake George. Anthony is survived by his loving sons; Anthony F. (Christine) Del Signore III of Latham, Duane A. Del Signore of Rotterdam and daughters; Shawn E. (James) Greco of Watervliet and Brandy J. (fiance Jos) Del Signore of Troy; his 8 cherished grandchildren: Megan, Madeline, Karleigh, Joseph, Anthony IV, Chad, Tailor & Patience as well as his siblings; Robert A. (Kathleen) Del Signore of Watervliet, James F. (Patricia) Del Signore of Troy, Joanne Kirkland of Watervliet and Marilyn Ashline of Watervliet, also his devoted companion Maureen Brower and several nieces and nephews. Anthony is predeceased by his former wife Sandra Elizabeth Billings who passed away in 2011. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday, March 16, 2015 from 4-6:30 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with funeral services taking place at 6:30 pm immediately following the visitation.
