ANNE "NANCY" TOOLAN
Albany- Anne "Nancy" Toolan now dwells with her beloved husband Jack in God's house. She departed this earth on February 17, 2015 after a brief illness. She had resided at the Beltrone Living Center for many years.
Born in New York City on December 2, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Delia (Flanagan) Kiely and Jeremiah Kiely. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years Michael (Jack).Nancy was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed by her children Michael (Lisa), Anne (Martin), Mary, and John (Elisabeth) and her 11 grandchildren: Katie, Clare (Nathan), Theresa, Joseph, Elisabeth (Todd), Laura, Lisa, Michael, Jerry, Anne Marie, and Matthew. Formerly of Freehold, NY, Nancy was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Knock Council #6439.
Nancy cherished her Irish heritage often speaking about her schooling in Ireland. She was renowned for her famous "Irish Soda Bread" recipe only available to the immediate family. Her family and her Catholic faith were most important in her daily life.
Nancy enjoyed her many friends at the Beltrone and was an avid weekly pinochle player. She asked to be remembered to all. Besides her husband, Nancy was predeceased by her brothers William and Jeremiah and her sister Margaret.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham with Fr. Geoffrey Burke officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 2:00-6:00 pm at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made in Nancy's memory to the Colonie EMS 312 Wolf Road Latham, NY 12110 or the Our Lady of the Assumption Building Fund 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road. Latham, NY 12110.
Interment will take place in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
