BOBBIE JEAN KALETTA Malta - Bobbie Jean Kaletta, 84 of Malta, beloved wife of the late William F. Kaletta., entered into eternal life on Monday March 16, 2009 at her home in Malta with her cherished children at her side. Born in Warrensburg, Missouri on January 27, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Robert and Zoe Lav Vern Bangs Albee. Her family moved to Oklahoma City where she graduated from Northeast High School in 1943. During World War II she was a ground air traffic director. She met her husband the late William F. Kaletta who was a Navy Ensign Navigation Instructor in Clinton Oklahoma. They were married in her parents house during WW II, her husband was relocated the next day. Bobbie Jean and her Husband settled in 1946 in her husband's home town of Schenectady. She was a Secretary for many years employed by Wilson Meat Packing and later employed by Kresge Department Store, and as a phone operator at General Electric in Schenectady. Bobbie Jean also worked in the Kaletta family printing business for several years. In 1954 Bobbie Jean became a mother and devoted the rest of her life to caring for her husband, children and later her grandchildren. Her family was everything to her and her grandchildren meant the world to her. She did a great job. Survivors include her cherished children William B. (Tonia J. Murray) Kaletta of Santa Rosa Beach , FL and Paula (Martin IV) Navojosky of Malta, her loving grandchildren Erica L. Hoffman-Kaletta, Marty M. Navojosky V and William F. Navojosky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 7 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday March 20, at 11:00 a.m. in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday from 5-7 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
